Hunting season is upon us.  Keep your pets close and if they are outside for an extended period of time remember to have on blaze orange.

Halloween is at the end of this month.  For the safety of your pet there are a few things to remember:

• Candy and pets do not mix well - keep candy up out of reach of your pet
• Costumes - these are exciting and new items remember that pets are curious so keep your costume out of your pets reach
• Pets who wear costumes - make sure that you do not leave your pet unattended wearing his or her costume, if the costume does not fit properly this could be a hazard as well.
• Like children costumes can scare some pets so be aware of that during this festive season.
