 Practice
Manager:Ellen Ellen is our practice manager
and manages to skillfully combine this with her work as a licensed veterinary technician. As a veterinary technician,
Ellen assists with radiographs, catheter placement, procedures to include surgeries, performs dentals and fills in whenever
necessary. She has been a technician for 18 years and has worked at two referral hospitals as a surgical technician.
She also worked in the intensive care unit at Cornell University. Ellen and Dr Flowers are parents to three wonderful
children and their extended family includes two dogs and three cats. Ellen sometimes has some free time and during that
she loves reading, horseback riding, fishing, working in the garden and running a sewing business.  Head Technician: Melissa Melissa joined our team in 2005 and has not missed a beat. A graduate of University of Maine at Orono with
a Bachelors in Zoology, she furthered her education by gaining an Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology at NHCTC in New
Hampshire. A Licensed Technician since 2003, Melissa has been working with animals since 2000. She and her husband
live in Bowdoinham with their three cats and dog. In her spare time Melissa enjoys reading, hiking with her dog,
Jack, camping and fishing. |
