Dr Flowers was born and raised in Lynbrook, NY, which is on Long Island. He attended Cornell University for his
under- graduate and veterinary education and graduated in 1996. Dr Flowers and his wife, Ellen, founded At Home Veterinary
Care in 1999. Dr Flowers enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine. He is a member of the Maine Veterinary Medical
Association, the American Veterinary Medicine Association and the American Animal Hospital Association. Dr Flowers and
his wife have three children. His extended family includes 2 dogs( Bosco and Rigatoni) and 3 cats (Chelsea, Ginger
and Mango). In whatever spare time he can manage, Dr Flowers enjoys fishing and many other outdoor activities.

Dr Sarah Magenis joined our practice in August of 2007. She comes to us from Stockton Springs where she was practicing
in Brewer. Her schooling began in her home city of Syracuse, New York. Dr Magenis attended college at Cornell
University where she earned her Bachelors Degree in Animal Science. She furthered her education at the University of
Illinois and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Dr Magenis has a wide range of knowledge to share with us,
she has interest in exotic animals including: reptiles, birds, small animals (pocket Pets), and ferrets. She and her
husband, Sean, have two cats: Ferdingus and Ling. In her spare time she enjoys outdoor activities such as, cross country
skiing, kayaking and hiking. Please say hello the next time you are in the office to help give her a warm welcome to
